Sofie Pfeifer is an English student at the University of Vienna, finishing her BA in 2020. She works as a phonetics tutor at the department of English and writes short prose. At the 2018 Conference on the Short Story in English she presented a paper titled “Gustav Adolf’s Page and Mulan: the recurring theme of cross-dressing women in the short story.”
