Michael Steven is the author of the acclaimed Walking to JutlandStreet (Otago University Press, 2018). His honors include the 2018 Todd New Writer’s Bursary, and his poems were shortlisted for the 2019 Sarah Broom Poetry Prize. A new poetry collection, The Lifers, will be published by Otago University Press in March, 2020. He lives and writes in West Auckland, New Zealand.
