
Christine Howe is a lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Wollongong, whose creative and critical work centers around developing a poetics of hope and respect. Her first novel, Song in the Dark, was published by Penguin (2013), and her short works (microfictions, lyric essays, poems) have been published in journals such as the Griffith Review, Cordite, and Law, Text, Culture; and in Shuffle (2019), an anthology of microlit. She is on the editorial board of Swamphen: a Journal of Cultural Ecology (ASLEC-ANZ).
