Andrea Lundgren was born in 1986 in the north of Sweden but today she resides in Stockholm. She is a writer of novels and short stories and her latest book was the award winning collection Nordisk Fauna. In her writing, Lundgren often depicts her childhood landscape, the wide forests and rivers of the north and the people living there. Old religious texts and myths are other important influences. Lundgren has also collaborated with different artists, is a literary critic, a writer of essays and one of the two hosts in the literary podcast Godmorgon, midnatt! (Good morning, midnight!)
